Ahakoa
Ahakoa
Pluralistic Counselling
The name 'Ahakoa' is from Te Reo Māori and translates to 'despite' or 'although' or 'in spite of.'
When someone decides that they would like to give counselling a try, it is often at the point where things have become too heavy to carry alone. In spite of their challenges, they are seeking support in managing that load.
Although life experiences can knock us back, with a little support we can rebuild, reshape or rediscover ourselves, ready for whatever the future holds.
